Who are we?

We are Sonia and Alec, we have been together for about three and half years and have covered a few thousand miles together, from European weekend city breaks in Prague, Paris, Amsterdam, Budapest and Jersey, to lovely holidays in the Greek Islands, Egypt, New York, and Provence. We murdered the Orient Express from London to Venice, explored the Amalfi coast, Sorrento, Pompeii and the romantic island of Capri. We’ve been Whale watching in Norway, Christmas shopping in Krakow, Stuttgart and Copenhagen, and skiing in Austria and Switzerland. We entered a 911 in the Cannonball 8000 rally across Europe from London to Rome partying in Brussels and Munich along the way and then more leisurely sight-seeing in Florence, Pisa, Geneva and Rheims on the way back. We joined a 30 car Porsche convoy to the Le Mans 24 Hours race and took time to laze along the river and Chateaux in the Loire Valley. We enjoyed a warm Easter week in the Canary Islands and then a wet summer week in the Lake District of England. A fortnight in Mauritius has been our most extravagant indulgence, until we booked our next trip which is a 21 day Grand Tour of China, due to commence in April. All of our travelling experiences have been wonderful, but those in bold have been exceptional, and now we can't wait to venture into the inscrutable Far East.
